Quiet Lapis Necklace

A single strand of deep, night-sky blue beads ending in a small brass clasp. Worn close to the collarbone, it reads as a quiet line of color rather than a statement piece.

The story

Lapis has been ground into pigment and worn as ornament for more than six thousand years. The deep blue reminded early traders of the night sky. We leave the beads unpolished and the cord simple, so the color does the talking.
