Our Story
Inspired, not inherited.
Yarlung Still is a small studio of hand-strung beads. We take our visual cues from the stones and symbols of the Tibetan plateau — the deep blue of lapis, the warmth of amber, the count of 108 — and translate them into quiet objects for everyday wear.
A note on inspiration
The symbols we reference — including the Eight Auspicious Symbols — belong to living traditions with deep meaning. We use them as a visual language of pattern and proportion, not as religious doctrine, and we do not assign spiritual or healing properties to our products. Any meaning a piece holds is yours to decide.
Honest materials
We name every material plainly. Where a bead is resin, glass, or dyed stone rather than a natural gem, the product page says so. We would rather you know exactly what you are wearing.
Made to be lived in
Each strand is hand-knotted or strung to order. They are built for daily wear, softened by use, and meant to travel with you.
